The HSMAI Greater New York Chapter is happy to recognize outstanding industry leaders who consistently support our work. For all award categories, nominees should demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, as well as exceptional direction, initiative, and enthusiasm for the industry.

It is that time of year again to recognize our exceptional colleagues, team members, leaders in the industry and Hotel of the year.

Categories & Criteria
Nominees for Revenue Management Executive of the Year must have held the title of Director of Revenue Management, Vice President of Revenue Management, or similar title (such as Vice President/Area) for a minimum of one year at their current company. Nominees must also have responsibility for either multiple properties or have a direct report who is a revenue manager, revenue analyst, or reservations manager.
Nominees for Sales Executive of the Year must be actively employed in sales management in the hospitality industry for a minimum of one year and have responsibility for one or more hospitality-related organizations.
Nominees for General Manager must currently be working as a general manager, managing director, chief operating officer, or similar position that is responsible for a single or multi-property lodging business. They must have held their current title or been with their current employer for a minimum of one year.
Nominees for Marketing Executive of the Year must have held the title of Vice President or Director of Marketing for a minimum of one year and have responsibility for one or more hospitality-related organizations.
Nominees for Hospitality Professional of the Year must have held their current title or have been with their current employer for a minimum of one year. Nominees are not limited to hotel or property level positions, and may be an employee or principal of a hotel management company, ownership company, PR firm, marketing firm, supplier company, consultant, or any vendor related to the hospitality industry.
